No hoops required...
Don't you just love it when someone tells you how good you are and how you should continue what you are doing because you are great and what you are doing is just fine so don't change it?
Yes we need to tweak things, we shouldn't be complacent but basically we have got it right.
So throw away those hoops, because I'm not jumping through them anymore.
If I'm not good enough then so be it.
A long sentence I know but that happened today.
At this time of year in my line of work it is a time to reflect on how we are doing; our achievements, our targets, our failures. It is then time to look at how external goal posts have been moved and decide how we have to change the game to move with them.http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/85/Hoops.jpg
Well, this year, once again the goalposts have moved. But as a company we have changed. We have taken on board the new techniques, tried them, made conclusions about what works and what is surplus to requirements. We know our clients better than anyone else. We know what we need to do to get the best for them.http://www.newitts.com/images/products/800x800/fl020.jpg

ReplyDeleteRefusing to jump through hoops is risky but the rewards tend to be greater. Anything is possible.
