Waistcoats

I love wearing a waistcoat. I realise that it may well be a little old fashioned but I think that a waistcoat really sets off a suit. It adds something that just makes a smart suit look smarter.
What makes me a little narked is that for what they are waistcoats are quite expensive items of clothing and I don't really like paying too much for clothes.
Buying a waistcoat is not that easy. Obviously buying a waistcoat as part of a three piece suit is not a problem but these tend to be fairly standard colours, grey, black, charcoal. Other waistcoats that are easily bought are waistcoats for weddings. These are usually the type which have no back and are often in colours that match the wedding flowers like pearl, ivory and coral.
To find a really good waistcoat requires an intense Internet search. The beauty of a good waistcoat is that it can be worn with any number of outfits both smart and casual. A good waistcoat can complement a suit and look equally good with a t shirt and a pair of jeans.
I think that the waistcoat is the one item of clothing that should be making a comeback. So get out there and buy yourself one and wear it with pride because its bound to look good on you.
