Holiday Films
The first day of the year is a time to reflect on the year just gone and to consider the new year ahead. Or it's a day to vegetate in front of the TV and to watch some of those classic holiday musical from days past.

Today I managed to catch up with two of the classics that must both be in everyone's top ten.
The first was Mary Poppins, a practically perfect film with a brilliant sound track some good child actors and a dodgy cock-en-ey accent. I love Mary Poppins. Every time I watch it I like a different bit. I actually found myself laughing out loud today at the rubbish jokes.
Then later I was rewarded with yet another classic, The Wizard of Oz. the scarecrow song, absolutely love it. All I need now is The Sound of Music and the holiday would be complete.
