Uh oh the mower...
Eventually the Sun came out and the sky turned blue but that was only about half an hour before the aforementioned ball of gas sank below the horizon. Even so it felt like a spring day and it was time for the grass to get its first vacuum.
The snow, frost, ice and rain has taken its toll on the lawn and it looks vaguely like the moorland surrounding Rough Tor on Dartmoor, the hillocks were beginning to become quite pronounced.
So even though it was a very early March day I resigned myself to the task of getting the mower out of hibernation and giving the grass a good cut and tidy up.
Now its started, the mowing season has begun. Lawn care will occupy my thoughts and at some stage the garden will be black as the moss is killed by a selective herbicide. All in the pursuit of perfection.
